I owe Derby Sports Clips an apology. After my review of 4-09-2022 in which I promised never to return, I did. And I am glad I did. As soon as I entered the store, one of the stylists greeted me, and asked if I got the app to work. When I told her I tried, she said "don't worry about it, I've got you checked in". One of my favorite stylists acknowledged me and had me in the chair within 20 minutes. She explained there was a family emergency that left the remaining staff short handed. She further explained that the term "bypass" meant at the store and that they were eager to make things right. Once it was explained to me, I understood. I did suggest that a brief explanation (no personal information necessary) would have gone a long way. I also received a response from, store owner, Monique Haynes-Robertson offering to make things right. Rest assured, your staff did that this afternoon. I am so sorry for the staff member who lost a loved one. May she find peace. I am sorry for my knee jerk reaction to my perception of what was happening. I am grateful for second chances. Thank you for showing more class that was necessary. I will definitely be back!
